The Lincoln East Spartans baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Papillion-LaVista Monarchs to 2 in the Spartans non-league victory on Monday.
The Spartans (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Kearney (Kearney, NE). The Bearcats go into the non-league match with a 12-3 record.
The Monarchs (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Benson (Omaha, NE). The Bunnies go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Benson was overwhelmed by Auburn (Auburn, NE), 12-5, in a non-league match.
