South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Azusa Aztecs (Azusa, CA), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Blair for a challenge on Tuesday, April 16. South Pasadena will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to La Canada (La Canada, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Azusa falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Aztecs host Nogales (La Puente, CA) to battle the Nobles in a challenge on Monday, April 22. The Nobles enter the challenge with a record of 3-8.
