Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME), 13-5 in a league battle.

The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freeport for a non-league battle on Friday, April 19. Lincoln Academy will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 21-6 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) in a Class C battle, on Wednesday, April 17. John Bapst Memorial will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
