Bishop Guertin Cardinals (Nashua, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bedford Bulldogs (Bedford, NH), 16-3 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Alvirne for a Division I challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Bishop Guertin will battle a Broncos squad coming off a 9-1 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH). The Broncos record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Bedford falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Dover (Dover, NH) to battle the Green Wave in a Division I challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Dover won 22-0 in their recent league challenge against Nashua North (Nashua, NH)
