The Blaine Bengals softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Waconia Wildcats to 2 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Blaine moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Bengals travel to Anoka (Anoka, MN) to play the Tornadoes in a Northwest Suburban game on Thursday, April 18. The Tornadoes come into the game with a record of 4-3.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 16. Waconia will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Orioles come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN).
