Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakewood for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Burlington-Edison will face a Cougars squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Granite Falls falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sultan (Sultan, WA) to face the Turks in a 1A Emerald Sound challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Turks enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Sultan lost 15-3 in their recent league challenge against Cedar Park Christian (Bothell, WA)
