Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Cape May County Tech Hawks (Cape May Court House, NJ), 17-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wildwood Catholic for a Cape-Atlantic - National challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Holy Spirit will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Cape May County Tech falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Bridgeton (Bridgeton, NJ) to face the Bulldogs in a Cape-Atlantic - United challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
