Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cumberland Valley for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth challenge on Tuesday, April 16.

With the loss, Central Mountain falls to 2-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA) to clash with the Seals in a Heartland I game on Tuesday, April 16. The Seals come into the game with a record of 0-6. Selinsgrove lost 11-5 in their recent league game against Danville (Danville, PA)
