The Chittenango Bears (Chittenango, NY) softball routed the host East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans (East Syracuse, NY), 18-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Homer (Homer, NY). The Trojans go into the Section 3 Liberty 1 bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Homer was routed by Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY), 19-2, in a non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Auburn for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 16. East Syracuse-Minoa will confront a Maroons squad coming off a 20-16 non-league loss to Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Maroons record now stands at 1-1.
