The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV), saw Cimarron-Memorial's softball squad nip Silverado by a count of 14-7.

The Spartans now sport a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they host Rancho for a 4A Desert match on Tuesday, April 16. Cimarron-Memorial will face a Rams squad coming off a 9-2 league win over Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV). The Rams record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Silverado falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Green Valley (Henderson, NV) to face the Gators in a 5A South - Desert match on Wednesday, April 17. The Gators enter the match with a record of 8-6. Green Valley won 3-1 in their recent league match against Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV)
