The Cutter-Morning Star Eagles softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Mountain Pine Red Devils to 1 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Cutter-Morning Star moves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Eagles host Bismarck (Bismarck, AR) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 16. The Lions come into the game with a record of 3-9. Bismarck won 16-0 in their recent league game against Centerpoint (Amity, AR)
In their next game, the Red Devils play the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs (North Little Rock, AR) in a 2A Region 5 game, on Tuesday, April 16. Mountain Pine will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 1-6 record after their 13-1 league loss to Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR).
