The East Peoria Raiders softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Lincoln Railsplitters to 1 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, East Peoria moves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Raiders travel to Morton (Morton, IL) to clash with the Potters in a Mid-Illini game on Wednesday, April 17. The Potters come into the game with a record of 5-7. Morton won 5-4 in their recent league game against Canton (Canton, IL)

In their next game, the Railsplitters clash with the Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL) in a Central State Eight game, on Tuesday, April 16. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 1-13 record after their 20-1 non-league loss to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL).
