Prairie Heights Panthers (LaGrange, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fort Wayne North Side Legends (Fort Wayne, IN), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Central Noble for a Northeast Corner challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Prairie Heights will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Knox (Knox, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Fort Wayne North Side falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Legends host Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN) to battle the Knights in a Summit challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Fort Wayne Bishop Luers lost 10-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Norwell (Ossian, IN)
