Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Redskins now sport a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Edison for a Ohio Valley Athletic AAAA challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Indian Creek will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Weir (Weirton, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Union Local falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Jets host Barnesville (Barnesville, OH) to face the Shamrocks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Shamrocks enter the challenge with a record of 8-1. Barnesville won 18-1 in their recent league challenge against Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH)
