The Starpoint Spartans routed the host Kennedy Bears softball squad by a final score of 15-7 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against West Seneca West (West Seneca, NY). The Warhawks go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

The Bears now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Eden for a Section 6 Erie County IV battle on Tuesday, April 16. Kennedy will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 14-5 league win over Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
