The Mineral Springs Hornets softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Kirby Trojans to 2 in the Hornets league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Mineral Springs improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Hornets host Cossatot River (Cove, AR) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, April 19. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 3-9.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Centerpoint Knights (Amity, AR) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 16. Kirby will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 3-12 record after their 16-0 league loss to Bismarck (Bismarck, AR).
