Spectators at Monday's league match between the Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) and the visiting Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN), witnessed Lake City's softball squad tip Triton by a count of 13-9.

The Tigers now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Cannon Falls for a Hiawatha Valley match on Tuesday, April 16. Lake City will face a Bombers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Chatfield (Chatfield, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Triton moves to 0-5 on the season. The Cobras host Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 16. The Cardinals go into the match with a record of 2-1. Bethlehem Academy won 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN)
