The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Lincolnview Lancers (Van Wert, OH) and the visiting Leo Lions (Leo, IN), saw Lincolnview's softball squad nip Leo by a count of 9-8.

The Lancers now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spencerville for a Northwest match on Thursday, April 18. Lincolnview will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to Ada (Ada, OH). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Leo falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Heritage (Monroeville, IN) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Thursday, April 18. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 3-2. Heritage lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN)
