The Battlin' Miners now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Panther Valley for a Schuylkill III challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Minersville will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Shenandoah Valley (Shenandoah, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Mahanoy Area falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. Schuylkill Haven won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA)
