The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting St. Joseph Bulldogs to 0 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Mt. Vernon-Enola moves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Warhawks host Quitman (Quitman, AR) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 2 game on Tuesday, April 16. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 18-6. Quitman won 13-2 in their recent non-league game against Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR)

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Wonderview Daredevils (Hattieville, AR) in a 1A Region 4 game, on Tuesday, April 16. St. Joseph will attempt to move on its 3-16 season record. The Daredevils come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 26-18 league win over Nemo Vista (Center Ridge, AR).
