The Vikings come into the game with a record of 4-4. Union Catholic lost 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ)

In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 19. New Providence will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.
