In Monday's non-league contest, the Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the host Northwest Falcons (Shiprock, NM), by a margin of 24-3.

With the triumph, Red Mesa moves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Redskins travel to Fredonia (Fredonia, AZ) to play the Lynx in a 1A North contest on Friday, April 19. The Lynx come into the contest with a record of 10-9. Fredonia won 13-3 in their recent league contest against St. Michael (St. Michaels, AZ)

In their next game, the Falcons play the Newcomb Skyhawks (Newcomb, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 18. Northwest will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Skyhawks come into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 14-11 league win over Thoreau (Thoreau, NM).
