The Otay Ranch Mustangs softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Point Loma Pointers to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Otay Ranch moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 17. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 10-7. Carlsbad won 6-4 in their recent league game against La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA)

In their next game, the Pointers clash with the University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) in a City Eastern game, on Wednesday, April 17. Point Loma will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Centurions come into the game with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Olympian (Chula Vista, CA).
