The Pierz Pioneers routed the visiting Pillager Huskies softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Pioneers (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Milaca (Milaca, MN). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Milaca topped Mora (Mora, MN), 19-4, in a league battle.

The Huskies now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 16. Pillager will meet a Bears squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN). The Bears record now stands at 2-0.
