In Monday's league outing, the host Salt Fork Storm softball team scored a close 11-6 win over the Schlarman Hilltoppers.

Coming up next, the Storm encounter the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) in a Vermilion Valley outing, on Thursday, April 18. Salt Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 10-2 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Grant Park (Grant Park, IL).

The Hilltoppers (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Milford (Milford, IL). The Bearcats enter the Vermilion Valley outing with a 10-1 record. In their last outing, Milford tipped Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL), 8-0, in a non-league outing.
