Indiana High School Softball - Wes-Del nudges Union City

Wes-Del Warriors (Gaston, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Union City Indians (Union City, IN), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Daleville for a Mid-Eastern challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Wes-Del will face a Broncos squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Pike (Indianapolis, IN). The Broncos record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Union City falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Indians host Liberty Christian (Anderson, IN) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Liberty Christian lost 15-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Christel House (Indianapolis, IN)
