In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish baseball team scored a close 4-2 victory over the Greenhills Gryphons.
The Fighting Irish (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Western International (Detroit, MI). The Cowboys enter the non-league game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Western International held off Oak Park (Oak Park, MI), 4-0, in a non-league game.
