The Western Branch Bruins baseball squad (Chesapeake, VA), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC)

With the triumph, James Island moves its record to 16-3 on the season. The Trojans host Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 16. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 7-3. Stone Bridge lost 6-0 in their recent non-league contest against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA)

The Bruins now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland for a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, April 22. Western Branch will confront a Cavaliers squad coming off a 11-2 league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-2.
