The Lodi Flames (Lodi, CA) baseball got by the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), 5-4 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Flames now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chico for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Lodi will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 18-1.

With the defeat, Ponderosa drops to 7-16 on the year. The Bruins travel to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Laguna Creek won 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Antelope (Antelope, CA)
