Missouri High School Baseball - Mansfield edges New Covenant Academy

The Mansfield Lions baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting New Covenant Academy Warriors to 12 in the Lions non-league win on Tuesday.
The Lions now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Chadwick for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. Mansfield will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Galena (Galena, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, New Covenant Academy drops to 7-7 on the year. The Warriors host Lighthouse Christian (Springfield, MO) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 17. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 14-4. Lighthouse Christian lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Halfway (Halfway, MO)
