South Carolina High School Baseball - Mid-Carolina edges Spring Valley

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) and the host Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC), saw Mid-Carolina's baseball team gain a win over Spring Valley by a tally of 5-3.
The Rebels (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC). The Griffins enter the 2A Region 3 battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Fairfield Central by Richard Winn Academy (Winnsboro, SC), 7-5, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Vikings face the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 21. Spring Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 13-5 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC).
