Utah High School Baseball - Montezuma-Cortez nudged by San Juan

April 15, 2025: Blanding, UT 84511

In Tuesday's non-league bout, the San Juan Broncos (Blanding, UT) baseball squad edged the visiting Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO), by a tally of 7-6.

Next up, the Broncos encounter the North Summit Braves (Coalville, UT) in a 2A East bout, on Friday, April 18. San Juan will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Braves enter the bout with a 1-14 record after their 12-4 league loss to Duchesne (Duchesne, UT).

The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their bout against Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO). The Pirates enter the 3A Intermountain bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Pagosa Springs was nudged by Durango (Durango, CO), 7-4, in a non-league test.
