Indiana High School Baseball - Owen Valley defeats South Putnam

The Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN) baseball trounced the host South Putnam Eagles (Greencastle, IN), 8-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Brown County for a Western Indiana challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Owen Valley will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to Waldron (Waldron, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, South Putnam drops to 2-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN) to clash with the Clovers in a Western Indiana challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Clovers go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Cloverdale lost 10-4 in their recent league challenge against West Vigo (West Terre Haute, IN)
