The Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) baseball trounced the host Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), 12-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crosby for a Naugatuck Valley - Copper challenge on Thursday, April 17.
With the defeat, Pomperaug drops to 0-4 on the year. The Panthers host Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Shepaug Valley won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT)
