Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL) and the host Moline Maroons (Moline, IL), saw Alleman's soccer squad hold off Moline by a count of 3-2.

The Pioneers (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Geneseo (Geneseo, IL). The Maple Leafs enter the Western Big 6 battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Geneseo was edged by Dunlap (Dunlap, IL), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Maroons confront the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 17. Moline will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Morton (Morton, IL).
