Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) and the visiting Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL), saw Bloom's soccer squad hold off Beecher by a count of 2-1.

The Blazing Trojan (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Kays enter the SICA battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Kankakee tipped Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Bobcats battle the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) in a SICA battle, on Wednesday, April 16. Beecher will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 2-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South (Calumet City, IL).
