In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) soccer team edged the host Calhoun Yellow Jackets (Calhoun, GA), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Blue Devils battle the Collins Hill Eagles (Suwanee, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 18. Model will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 6-11 record after their 1-1 non-league Johnson (Gainesville, GA).
The Yellow Jackets (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Trion (Trion, GA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Trion held off Atlanta Classical Academy (Atlanta, GA), 5-1, in a league contest.
