Iowa High School Soccer - Independence knocks off Clear Creek-Amana

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Independence Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers.
The Mustangs (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Grinnell (Grinnell, IA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Grinnell got by West Delaware (Manchester, IA), 9-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Clippers confront the Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings (Vinton, IA) in a WaMac-West outing, on Thursday, April 17. Clear Creek-Amana will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 2-6 record after their 5-0 league win over Benton (Van Horne, IA).
