Virginia High School Lacrosse - New Covenant nipped by Virginia Episcopal School

The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops edged the visiting New Covenant Gryphons lacrosse team by a tally of 12-11 in Tuesday's league match.

Next up, the Bishops confront the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) in a VISAA Division 1 match, on Thursday, April 17. Virginia Episcopal School will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Barons enter the match with a 7-5 record after their 13-12 non-league loss to St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA).

The Gryphons (1-5) will now prepare for their match against The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, The Covenant was tipped by Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA), 21-16, in a non-league match.
