The Panthers now hold a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pickerington Central for a Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 22.

With the loss, Newark falls to 4-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Licking Valley (Newark, OH) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 18. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Licking Valley lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Jonathan Alder (Plain City, OH)
