Washington High School Soccer - Lynden knocks off Blaine

The Lynden Lions soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Blaine Borderites to 1 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Burlington-Edison for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Thursday, April 17. Lynden will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Blaine moves to 1-7 on the year. The Borderites host Mt. Baker (Deming, WA) to play the Mountaineers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Thursday, April 17. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Mt. Baker lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA)
