Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) and the visiting Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA), saw Veterans's soccer squad hold off Colquitt County by a count of 3-2.

The Warhawks (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Tift County tipped Berrien (Nashville, GA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Packers battle the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) in a 7A Area 1 battle, on Friday, April 18. Colquitt County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 9-7 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA).
