The Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) soccer overwhelmed the host Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA), 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now hold a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Colquitt County for a 7A Area 1 challenge on Friday, April 18. Lowndes will encounter a Packers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Veterans (Kathleen, GA). The Packers record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Thomas County Central moves to 4-13 on the year.
