Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK) and the host Stilwell Indians (Stilwell, OK), saw Sallisaw's soccer squad triumph over Stilwell by a count of 6-1.
The Black Diamonds (15-0) will now prepare for their battle against Poteau (Poteau, OK). The Pirates enter the 4A District 6 battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Poteau tipped McLain Science & Tech (Tulsa, OK), 9-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Indians confront the Victory Christian Conquerors (Tulsa, OK) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 17. Stilwell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Conquerors enter the battle with a 11-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Wagoner (Wagoner, OK).
