The Mayflower Eagles triumphed over the host Dover Pirates softball squad by a count of 17-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Perryville Mustangs (Perryville, AR) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Mayflower will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 8-3 league loss to Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR).

The Pirates (0-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Two Rivers (Ola, AR). The Gators enter the 3A Region 5 challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Two Rivers was routed by Atkins (Atkins, AR), 12-1, in a league challenge.
