In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers.
The Fighting Irish (12-0) will now prepare for their match against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 12-2 record. In their last match, Wilmington notched a victory over Herscher (Herscher, IL), 13-3, in a league match.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 16. Gardner-South Wilmington will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Raiders come into the match with a 4-7 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to LeRoy (LeRoy, IL).
