With the triumph, Garrard County upgrades its record to 8-7 on the year. The Golden Lions travel to Boyle County (Danville, KY) to play the Rebels in a District 45 game on Thursday, April 17. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 4-9. Boyle County lost 7-6 in their recent non-league game against Casey County (Liberty, KY)

The Bulldogs now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Franklin County for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 16. Paul Laurence Dunbar will play a Flyers squad coming off a 17-5 league win over Frankfort (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers record now stands at 8-5.
