In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors softball team scored a tight 10-5 victory over the Gaston Christian Eagles.
The Warriors (4-10) will now prepare for their match against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Lions go into the NICSAA Metrolina match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, Hickory Grove Christian was routed by SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC), 12-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles (Huntersville, NC) in a NICSAA Metrolina match, on Thursday, April 17.
