The Rocori Spartans softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Hutchinson Tigers to 0 in the Spartans non-league win on Tuesday.

The Spartans now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brainerd for a Central Lakes battle on Thursday, April 17. Rocori will confront a Warriors team coming off a 1-0 league win over Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Hutchinson moves to 2-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN) to confront the Fire in a Wright County battle on Thursday, April 17. The Fire come into the battle with a record of 4-1. Holy Family Catholic lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN)
