The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) and the host Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL), observed Joliet Catholic's softball team prevail over Kankakee by a tally of 15-0.

The Hilltoppers (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 12-3 record. In their last bout, Wilmington was routed by Seneca (Seneca, IL), 13-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Kays clash with the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) in a SICA - South bout, on Wednesday, April 16. Kankakee will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 19-9 league loss to Kankakee (Kankakee, IL).
